Considerations for Geothermal Systems

The rise of geothermal systems presents unique challenges for building operators. This presentation will discuss geothermal system concerns during design, construction, and operation and will share experience in how these issues were resolved.

Alex Fleming has over 8 years of experience working with HVAC, plumbing, and other major building systems. Mr. Fleming is a licensed Professional Engineer in Minnesota, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional and certified commissioning authority. Mr. Fleming has and has worked on commissioning projects and engineering investigations nationwide, including several projects in South Dakota at the South Dakota School of Mines campus and Sanford Underground Research Facility.
